JKSSB Junior Assistant Admit Card 2026: The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued a fresh notification regarding the issuance of admit cards to shortlisted candidates for the Skill Test (Typing Test) for the post of Junior Assistant in various departments under Notification No. 08 of 2025 (Item No’s 163-179, 183-214, 218-232, 234, 237-240, 243-245,248,250 & 251). The Notification has been issued on 03 July 2026 through the official website of JKSSB. As per the Notification, the Skill Test for Shortlisted candidates will commence from 15 July 2026. Candidates who are shortlisted for the Typing Skill test can download their admit cards from the official website of JKSSB (www.jkssb.nic.in). The link for downloading the admit cards will be available from 10 July 2026. The Admit Card includes essential details such as candidate’s name, roll number, photograph, signature, date of birth and more.

Typing Speed & Score Calculation!
To pass the Skill (Type) Test, Candidates must achieve a minimum typing speed of 35 words Per Minute (WPM) in English. Candidates scoring above 35 WPM will be given additional points as per the prescribed evaluation criteria. The points achieved in the Typing test will be added to the candidate’s final score card to prepare the final merit list.

- Visit the official JKSSB website www.jkssb.nic.in
- Click on the “Admit Card” link.
- Select the relevant examination/post (Junior Assistant).
- Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth/Password.
- Complete the captcha verification (if required).

Guidelines for the Typing Test
- Carry a printed copy of the Admit Card along with a valid original Photo ID.
- Reach the examination centre well before the reporting time.
- Candidates must appear at the allotted examination centre only.
- A minimum typing speed of 35 WPM in English is mandatory to qualify the Skill (Type) Test.
- Candidates achieving more than 35 WPM will be awarded additional merit points as per the prescribed criteria.
- Ensure that all personal details on the admit card are correct and clearly visible.
- Follow all instructions issued by the invigilators during the test.
- The use of mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, or any electronic gadgets inside the test venue is strictly prohibited.
- Any form of impersonation, unfair means, or submission of false information will lead to disqualification and may invite legal action.
